This 100% silk east-meets-west mini skirt cheongsam features graceful flounce bell sleeves inspired by the morning glory flower and are of the same length as the western style A-line mini skirt itself; together with a peekaboo side slit and unique standing collar inspired by the Mandarin collar, this ultra-modern piece reinvents the traditional cheongsam into a funky and sexy party dress. 

This design is inspired by the classic red Chinese junk boat; in addition to the flowing and fluid-like visual design elements, the designer also incorporates strong, distinct lines and contrasting colors, imitating the dynamic outline of a sailboat and gives the design an energetic but graceful touch, as a tribute to the glorious history of Hong Kong.
